NIAA Realignment Committee to meet March 7th to discuss postseason tournament formats

A meeting of the Nevada Interscholastic Activities Association's Realignment Committee is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 7, 2018, at two locations: Chaparral High School, 3850 Annie Oakley Drive, Las Vegas, NV, 89121, AND the NIAA Office, 549 Court Street, Reno, NV, 89501. The meeting will be conducted telephonically. The Committee will be discussing, and possibly formulating, postseason tournament formats for the fall 2018 through spring 2020 cycle. NIAA Realignment Comittee's Fall 2018 through Spring 2020 recommendation for region - league alingnments

The Nevada Interscholastic Activities Association's (fall 2018 - spring 2020) Realignment Committee created a recommendation for region and league alignments Friday (Dec. 15) during its most recent meeting. The NIAA's Board of Control will vote on this recommendation (attached via the headline-link above) during is regularly-scheduled winter season meeting January 17th & 18th in Reno.

NIAA Realignment Committee's Fall 2018 through Spring 2020 recommendation for (school-by-school) classifications

The Nevada Interscholastic Activities Association's Realignment Committee met Thursday (December 7, 2017) at Chaparral High School and formulated the following recommendation for the (re-)classification of schools for the fall 2018 through spring 2020 cycle (attachment). The Committee will reconvene on Friday, December 15th at 1:00 p.m. via teleconference to further create a recommendation for the assignment of schools into regions / leagues and also possibly create a recommendation for postseason tournament formats. More information about the next meeting will be released soon. All Committee recommendations will be voted on by the NIAA Board of Control during its regularly-scheduled winter season meeting on January 17th & 18th (Reno location to be announced).
